This film, marking the 1st collaborative effort of creative team Arturo Cubacub + Sarah Weis, was shot almost entirely in Sarah’s old bedroom but has since taken on a life of its own. It has cultivated a worldwide following on YouTube and inspired the birth of i^3 hypermedia, a progressive production and post-production studio founded by the artists in May 2007. The story is based on an early performace piece by Sarah. The method camera technique used by Arturo alludes to his current hyper-reality camera invention. B-17 is perhaps the first recorded glimpse of the hyper-cinema method.
